ABOUT US
Hi, I’m Coach Lexi
I’m the founder of AR Health & Wellness, but movement has been a part of my life long before I started this business.
I am a lifelong athlete. I started playing soccer and basketball in elementary school and went on to play varsity basketball in high school. Because sports kept me active, I never really had to think about working out or maintaining my fitness—it was simply part of my life.
That changed when I went to college. Without sports being a regular part of my routine, I struggled to stay consistent with exercise while balancing school and work. By my senior year, I realized how much my health had changed. I had gained significant weight and was diagnosed with prediabetes.
That was a wake-up call.
As a kinesiology major, I understood the importance of movement and healthy habits, but I also realized that knowing what to do and actually living it are two different things. With my younger brother also experiencing blood sugar issues at a young age, I wanted to take my own health more seriously and become a better example.
I began weight training consistently and started working as a flexologist at StretchLab, which showed me how much I genuinely enjoy helping people feel better in their bodies. I also became increasingly frustrated by the amount of inaccurate health and wellness information I saw online. I wanted to help provide people with information they could actually trust.
My educational background eventually led to an opportunity to become a personal trainer, and I’ve now spent over a year working with clients through assisted stretching and personal training. Both experiences have confirmed that helping people feel better, move better, and become more confident in what their bodies can do is something I truly love.
That’s where AR Health & Wellness came from.
I believe healthy isn’t a look—it’s a feeling. Wellness isn’t about being perfect or looking a certain way. It’s about feeling strong, capable, confident, and supported in your everyday life.
I’m not someone who believes I have everything figured out. I’m still learning, too. As health and wellness continue to evolve, I’m committed to continuing my education and actively practicing the things I teach. I believe in growing alongside you.
My goal is to make wellness more approachable, practical, and accessible—especially for people who may not feel comfortable in traditional fitness spaces. Through assisted stretching, personal training, wellness education, and eventually community-based programs, I want to create opportunities for people to move, learn, connect, and take an active role in their health.
AR Health & Wellness is still growing, but my vision goes beyond one-on-one sessions. I’m building a platform that brings wellness education and movement opportunities into the community and, eventually, makes those resources available to people for free.
I’m glad you’re here, and I hope AR Health & Wellness can be part of your journey, too.
